You want to go with your sister to the museum to see the dinosaur exhibit. The museum has 3 different plans to pay for going to see the dinosaur.
Plan A: Pay $3.00 per person to visit the museum
Plan B: Monthly membership is $8.00 for each person but you can go as many times as you like during the month.
Plan C: A family membership for a month is $17.00. Everyone in your family can go as often as they like for a month.
Its asking me to pick a plan that'll save more money

That depends on how many times you and your family members intend
to visit the museum.

Answer by elyk162(1) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
lets start with plan A you have 2 people and you must pay 3 dollars per person 3(x) 3 X 2 = 6$ now this is just for 1 day. Plan B you pay 8 dollars per person but you get a month so 8(x) 8 X 2 = 16$ now since this is in months and Plan A is in one day you can either multiply Plan A by 30 to get how much a month or Divide Plan B by 30 to get how much your would be paying per day. i would recommend multiplying Plan A. for Plan C its 17 dollars for your whole family for the month so you only pay 17 dollars for as many as you like but since its only you and your sis you divide it by 2 so 8.50$ you do this because you have 2 people that are family and this is to even out the other plans. because for only 2 people to go for as much as they want in one month you would go with Plan B because 8 X 2 is 16 for plan C you would pay an extra dollar it would be 17$ so plan C you can put as 17/X. for a one to 2 day visit with just 2 people you want to go with plan A and for 2 people to go as much as they like for the month Plan B and for a family trip as much as they like plan C.
