Let x=number of hours required to dig the big hole
The man moves dirt at the rate of 2^3 or 8 cu meters per hour
A hole 4X4X4=4^3=64 cu meters
So, our equation to solve is:
8x=64 cu meters
x=8 hours-------------------answer
