let speed of bus is x miles /hours
speed of train will be 42 miles faster means X+42 miles per hours
speed =distance/time or speed * time =distance travelled
distance travelled by bus=x*5=5x miles
distance travelled by train =2(x+42) both travelled same distance
5x=2(x+42)
5x=2x+84
5x-2x=84
3x=84
x=84/3=28 miles /hours and train speed will be 70 mile per hours
verification distance by train=2x70=140 and distance travelled by bus =28x5=140 so both distance are same
