You can put this solution on YOUR website! Solution.
6 people's working rate
6x = 12 days
1 people's working rate
1/6x = 12 days
Divide both sides by 1/6
x = 72 days
4 people's working rate
4x = 72
Divide both sides by 4
x = 18 days
OR
4/6x = 12 days
Divide both sides by 4/6
x = 18 days
OR
6 people = 12 days
1 people = 12*6 = 72 days
4 people = 72/4 = 18 days
