Convert to "cents"
(100 cents)x buys 300 jellybeans
---------------
Divide both sides by 100x to get:
1 cent buys 300/100x jellybeans = 3/x jellybeans

Multiply both sides by 50 to get:
50 cents buys 50(3/x) = 150/x jellybeans
