A pump is used to fill empty tanks with oil. It takes 27 minuets to fill 6 tanks when the flow rate is 5 litres per second.
Calculate how long it would take to fill 8 of these tanks when the flow rate is 9 litres per second.
----------
Each tank takes (27/6) = 9/2 minutes at 5L/sec
Tank = (9/2)*60*5 liters = 1350 liters
-------
At 9 L/sec:
1350/9 = 150 sec/tank
x8 = 1200 seconds = 20 minutes
