6 mph is 8.8 ft/sec. As a good estimate, multiply mph by 1.5 to get ft/sec
60 mph is 88 ft/sec, something that is part of driver's training.
That means 1 mph is 88ft/60sec or almost 1.5 ft sec. (1.46667)
6 miles/per hour*1 hour/3600 sec*5280 ft/mile.
