my first question is which part did Esther do? makes it difficult to solve now doesnt it.
this is simply a work backwards problem if R = remainder then of the remainder is and of the remainder would be
so that and and so and means
If T = Total then
multiply by 15
divide by 8

so
person 1 did 7/15ths of the work meaning units
Person 2 did 5/9ths of the remainder meaning units
Person 3 did units
which one is Esther....no clue...lol
