Question 47996: I need help rationalizing the denominator and simplifying this problem:
sqrt of 3 plus two over sqrt of 7 minus 7
I came up with this answer but it is not one of my options
sqrt of 21 plus 7 sqrt of 3 plus 2 sqrt of 7 plus 14 over -42
It looks like my professor put the negative sign in the numerator, but I am not sure. Would the negative from the 42 distribute through the entire numerator or just the first number?

Question 48059: Somebody please help me solve this problem. I tried and got a very weird high number.
Question: Convert(45)^(3/2) from exponent form to radical form, then simplify (without a calculator).
what I got:
sqr rt of (45^3)
= sqr rt of ((9*3)(5*3))
= sqr rt of ((9*9*9)(5*5*5))
= (3*3*3)sqr rt of (5*5*5)
= 27 sqr rt of (125)
= 27 sqr rt of (25*5)
= (5)27 sqr rt of (5)
= plus or minus 135 sqr rt of (5)
Is this right?
Thank you!
