Question 321535: I am having trouble with an a problem. I have looked everywhere on how to solve.
The problem is y-1 sqrt y +1 /2.
if there was not a 2 under the radical i would be able to solve. Dividing it by 2 has got me really confused.

I have this

~3/1+~2*1-~2/1-~2
~3(1-~2)/(1)^2-(~2)^2
~3(1-~2)/1-(2)
-~3/1-(2)
-~3/1-2
-~3/-1
-(-~3/1)
~3
But the answer is suspose to be ~6-~3
So somewhere I messed up. Please help.
