Question 117924: Hello, can you please help me understand step by step how to divide this kind of problem: Divide:
2x^2+5x-12 over 9x^2 divided by 2x^2-7x+6 over 3x^2-x-4
To my understanding, we are to rewrite the problem as multiplication, and then factor out the polynomials. When I did this, my answer was incorrect and I am not sure what the correct steps to take are. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Patti

Question 117925: Can you please explain how this problem is solved in detailed steps?
My directions say to perform the indicated operations:
√[50] + 2√[32] – √[8]
I am confused, because I thought the square root of an answer was two numbers that multiply together to get that number?
I am completely lost with this, detailed step by step directions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Patti
