Question 21436: I have been trying for several hours to solve the following:
(20+sqrt5-x) = (sqrtx+10)
I have come to an answer of x^2-390x+154025 and x^2+5x+37006.25 but when I have tried to factor both of these, I haven't been able to so I can find out what x is equal to.
Can you help?

Question 24386: square root of x = square root of 4x-12
square both sides =
x = 4x-12
[Or you could write it like this, I don't know what you guys can understand...]
^(x) = ^(4x-12)
^(x)*2 = ^(4x-12)*2
x = 4x-12
This is all I can figure out by way of my text book. Do you know the next steps in the solution. If so, thank you very much! I'm sorry for bothering you, and I hope you can understand the problem clearly enough!

Question 27418: I was asked to solve for (v) in terms of the other variables. Please help?
T= To/sqrt(1-v^2/c)
If you know the solution please explain. I was told this was Einstein's special theory of relativity
T= starship = 8 hrs (passed)
To= me on Earth = 4 hrs (passed)
c= the speed of light =186,000 miles per second
