Question 966508: Find the domain of the function y=x^2 - sqrt (2x+1)
I know I have to set the binomial under the radical to greater than or equal to 0 but I'm not sure if the minus sign before the radical plays a role in finding the domain.
2x+1>(or equal to) 0
2x>-1
x> 1/2
domain = [1/2, oo) <-- infinity sign Thank You!
