Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
you need to factor the quantity inside the radical and move any even roots outside the radical
eg. radical(27)=radical(3*3*3)=(3)radical(3)
radical(20a^2)=radical(2*2*5*a*a)=(2a)radical(5)
radical(30a^7)=radical(2*3*5*a^3*a^3*a)=(a^3)radical(30a)
(5)radical(250)=(5)radical(2*5*5*5)=(5)(5)radical(2*5)=(25)radical(10)
