What is radical x minus 3 (outside of the radical) divided by radical x plus 3 (outside of the radical?
------
[sqrt(x)-3] / [sqrt(x)+3]
Multiply numerator and denominator by (sqrt(x)-3) to get::
= [sqrt(x)-3]^2/(x-9)
------
= [x - 6sqrt(x) + 9] / (x-9)
------
= [x+9 - 6sqrt(x)]/(x-9)
