Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
√3-√6 over √3+√6 with a rationalized denominator
--------
[sqrt(3)-sqrt(6)] / [sqrt(3)+sqrt(6)]
-------
Mutiply numerator and denominator by [sqrt(3)-sqrt(6)] to get::
------
= [sqrt(3)-sqrt(6)]^2 / [3-6]
------
= [3 + 6 - 2sqrt(18)] / (-3)
------
= [9-2*3sqrt(2)]/(-3)
------
= [7-3sqrt(2)]/(-3)
