Question 8479: hello I have tried to understand this concept a lot, could you help me with the answer to 3sqrt18-5sqrt27+4sqrt3 the sqrt stands for square root (just in case you didn't know). Thank you!
Answer by arunpaul(104)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3sqrt18-5sqrt27+4sqrt3
= 3*sqrt(9*2)-5*sqrt(9*3)+4*sqrt(3)
=3*3*sqrt(2)-5*3*sqrt(3)+4*sqrt(3)
=9*sqrt(2)-15*sqrt(3)+4*sqrt(3)
=9*sqrt(2)-15*sqrt(3)
=3{3*sqrt(2)-5*sqrt(3)}
so find out the value of sqrt(2) and sqrt(3) and then proceed
