Question 837057: hello everyone. I have these two problems to solve about Relations and Functions so I hope that I picked the right tab to post these under. I have tried to look up on youtube and also the teachers examples but they look NOTHING like the problems I was assigned so I am completely lost. any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
first one is h(x)=-3x^2 and the second one is h(x)=-square symbol x-1 (I don't know how to put the square symbol over the x-1
thank you to anyone that can help me better understand this!

Answer by richard1234(7193)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"square symbol" as in "square root symbol?" (as in, ?) Best way to type it is h(x) = -sqrt(x-1), or h(x) = -\sqrt{x-1}.

Also, you defined two functions but did not really ask a question. What are you supposed to solve for, or evaluate? Repost with all information.
