Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3 is the index with a radical sign and the radicand under it is x squared = 4
------------------
(x^2)^(1/3) = 4
x^(2/3) = 4
Raise both sides to the (3/2) power to get:
x = 4^(3/2)
x= 8
