Question 809666: Please help me solve this and write it in standard form: (-2+sqrt-11)^2
Answer by rothauserc(4718) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(-2+sqrt-11)^2 = (-2+sqrt-11) * (-2+sqrt-11)
note that i = square root (-1) and i^2 = -1
doing the multiplication we get
4 -4*square root(-11) -11
-(4i*square root(11) +7)
