Question 762792: Simplify √27x3 assume x represents a positive value
Answer by 2897696(96) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
first factor everything in the sqrt (ex9=3*3)
sqrt(27x^3) ==> sqrt(3*3*3*x*x*x)
now take out every double, like sqrt (3*3*3) since there are 2 threes, take out two of them and you get 3sqrt 3 since sqrt (3*3)= sqrt 9 = 3
there are 1 pairs of three, and 1 pair of x
take them out and you get 3x
the remaining stuff is still in the radical, so it is sqrt(3x)
the answer put together is 3x(sqrt 3x)
ANSWER: 3x(sqrt3x)
