Question 752495: 1. Solve a) -2sqrt(6x+1) = 14 Can you please help me out? Thanks so much in advance:) Can you please show the steps it would really help me understand:)Answer by tommyt3rd(3721)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!Notice that the left side of this equation is strictly negative or complex because square roots are complex or positive - never negative. Either way we see that the product can never be positive. Therefore this equation has no solution. :)
