Answer by FrankM(1040) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
√ (5x+2) - 3 = 1
Add 3 to both sides
√ (5x+2) = 4
square both sides
5X+2=16
subtract 2 from both sides
5x=14
x=14/5 = 2 4/5
