What values for x must be exluded in the following fraction?

Remember that the denominator must not be equal to 0





     -1

  _______  ,      x - 8 ≠ 0

   x - 8



the value of x that is excluded is when the denominator = 0

   x - 8 = 0

       x = 8  



8 is the value of x that is excluded.
