Question 683342: Multiply:(2 radical sign x-5)(5 radical sign x+3). What step can be taken here to solve this problem? How do I go by applying the FOIL method?
Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
FOIL = First, Outside, Inside, Last.
(a + b)(c + d) = ac (firsts) + ad (outsides) + bc (insides) + bd (lasts)
When you are done doing the 4 multiplications, collect like terms.
