YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT TRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU MUST HAVE FORGOTTEN TO ALSO DIVIDE 6 BY 2

(6-sqrt(20))/2 this equals
(6-sqrt(4)(5))/2 and this equals
(6-2sqrt5)/2 which equals
6/2-(2sqrt5)/2= and this reduces to:
3-sqrt5
ck by using a calculator
