1. Write an equation relating N to A (Use k to represent the constant of variation. N = k/A
2. When there were 1000 tons of oil remaining from the spill, biologists counted 30 nests along the shoreline. 30 = k/1000, k = 30000
3. If the organization estimates that they will be able to clean up all but 75 tons of oil,
how many nests should be along the shoreline when cleanup efforts are complete?
N = 30000/75 = 400 nests
