By "radical" I assume you mean square root. All roots use a radical symbol: root(12, 34)}}} etc. In the future, use sqrt(15) or say "square root". The word radical is too vague.


As often occurs in Math, there is more than one way to go with this. So the following is not the one and only way to simplify your expression.

First thing I would do is simplify the numbers outside the square roots:


leaving:


Next I would use a property of all radicals, , to merge the two square roots into one:

The fraction inside the square root simplifies easily:

And there's nothing left to do!
