Question 600769: I am not getting this at ALL :( I am a complete math IDIOT, and I really need the steps to be explained so that I understand, telling me to simplify isn't necessarily something that I understand as I am a hands on (visual learner) and if I can't understand how to perform the steps, then I will surely be lost when it comes time to take my final ... only 2 weeks away, and this is the last class between me and the NURSING PROGRAM :)
Simplifying Radical Expressions :
square root sign with 25x^4 under the sign [sorry, that's the best I can explain the question's appearance]
inside the hook part of the square root sign is the number 3, then 32x^8 under the square root sign.
inside the hook part of the square root sign is the number 3, then 24x^9 under the square root sign.
THANK YOU :)

So you have described the following three things:

and

and

Now, is that three separate problems or is it three factors multiplied together in one problem?

Not a particularly difficult thing either way, but I need to know which it is.

By the way, the next time you want to render a radical expression in plain text, try it this way:

sqrt(25x^4) is understood to mean

and

sqrt[3](24x^9) is understood to mean
