Question 59234: I am not sure on how to type a radical sign, but here is my question:
Simplify, use radicals in your answer.
3(radical sign) -54x^15y^6 (the radical sign is over everything except the 3)
Thanks!
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3(radical sign) -54x^15y^6
Break the radicand into two parts, one
of which is a perfect square, as follows:
=3 sqrt [(9x^14y^6)(-6x)]
The perfect square comes out of the radical
and you get:
=3(3x^7y^3) sqrt(-6x)
=9x^7y^3 sqrt(-6x)
