Question 58562: Hello again!
It says to simplify:
(\/(radical sign)it stretches completly across the whole thing)
\/98x^4y^3
I got this:
\/7*14*x^4*y^3=
\/14x^4*\/7y^3
How would I complete this? Did I do anything wrong so far?
Thank you
CH

Hi CH,
Break this up into factors involving perfect squares.
Take the square roots of the things that you can and write them in front of the radical sign. The things you can't take the square root of stay inside the radical sign.

Happy Calculating!!!
