Question 578272: please help me solve the below word problem.
A water tank is h feet high. Water is flowing from the water tank with a velocity V feet per second. The model representing the relationship between the velocity and height is given by V=6 sqrt (h)
A). find the height of a water tank that provides a water flow of 60 feet per second.
B). find the velocity of the water flow when the height is 130 feet. Round your answer to two decimals.
Please show how you did this problem.... Thank you :)

A water tank is h feet high.
Water is flowing from the water tank with a velocity V feet per second.
The model representing the relationship between the velocity and height is given by:
V =
:
A). find the height of a water tank that provides a water flow of 60 feet per second.
V = 60 ft/sec, therefore
= 60
divide both sides by 6
=
= 10
square both sides
h = 10^2
h = 100 ft is the height for a velocity of 60 ft/sec
:
B). find the velocity of the water flow when the height is 130 feet.
Round your answer to two decimals.
h = 130, therefore:
V =
V = 6 * 11.40
V = 68.41 ft/sec
