Divide both side by 4



Take the reciprocal of the exponent ,
which is -5 and raise both sides of the
equation to the -5 power:



Remove the parentheses by multiplying the exponents  = 1





We use the rule for making a negative exponent positive
by putting it under 1 and changing the sign of the exponent
to positive.
