I am lost on the fifth power and was wondering if someone could help me with this example?
5 sqrt64x^12y^15
My answer is 2x^y^3 5 sqrt 8x^2 but it does not seem right.
..
5 sqrt64x^12y^15
change the exponents so they are evenly divided by the index=2
5 sqrt(2^6*x^12*y^14*y)
divide the exponents by 2 and pull the term out, leaving odd exponents inside.
5*2^3*x^6*y^7√y
5*8*x^6y^7√y
40x^6y^7√y (ans)
