Question 39139: Could you help me rewrite the expression 2sqrt3+sqrt2/sqrt3-sqrt2 so there are no radicals in the denominator? I guess we could say rationalize the denominator. Thank you so much.

Okay we multiply top and bottom by the conjugate of the denominator...so we get
(2sqrt3+sqrt2)/(sqrt3-sqrt2) * [(sqrt3+sqrt2)/(sqrt3+sqrt2)] =
[2sqrt(9) - 2sqrt(6) + sqrt(6) - 2] / (3 - 2) =
4 - sqrt(6)
