Question 364567:
_x^2_ + ___7___ = 1
X^2-4 x+2
Hope this makes sense.
Answer by edjones(8007) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x^2/(x^2-4) + 7/(x+2) = 1
x^2+7(x-2)=x^2-4 multiply each side by (x+2)(x-2)
x^2+7x-14=x^2-4
7x=10
x=10/7
