Answer by geochica(3)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2-2(2x-2)=-(3x+3)
rewrite -(3x+3) as -1(3x+3)
2-2(2x-2)=-1(3x+3)
multiply =-1 by 3x+3
2-2(2x-2)=-3x-3
rewrite 2-2(2x-2) as 2+(-2)(2x-2)
2+(-2)(2x-2)=-3x-3
multiply -2 by 2x-2
2+(-4x+4)=3x-3
remove parentheses
2-4x+4=3x-3
combine like terms
6-4x=3x-3
add 4x to each side
6=7x-3
add three to each side
9=7x
divide each side my 7
x=9/7

Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2-2(2x-2)=-(3x+3)
2-4X+4=-3X-3
-4X+3X=-3-2-4
-X=-9
X=9 ANS.
PROOF:
2-2(2*9-2)=-(3*9+3)
2-2(18-2)=-(27+3)
2-2*16=-30
2-32=-30
-30=-30
