square root of x+6=x?
sqrt(x+6) = x
Square both sides:
x+6 = x^2
Rearrange:
x^2-x-6 = 0
Factor:
(x-3)(x+2) = 0
---
x = 3 or x = -2
---
Acceptable solution because sqrt(x+6) must be positive:
x = 3
