Question 293240: I am working on a Radical equation not sure how to start other than plug in the numbers for what I am trying to find the right way to start this problem P=1500radicalt+P0 with t= the year and P0 = population of the town, trying to find out different population scenarios. Thank you
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P=1500radicalt+P0 with t= the year and P0 = population of the town
--------------
Population = 1500*sqrt(t) + P(0)
---
The graph would be a line with slope = 1500
and y-intercept of P(0).
chart from the year 2010 till 2016; would that mean dividing 1500 into the year sqrt(t) for each year?
----
If P(0) is the population count in 2010,
P(2010) = 1500*sqrt(0) + P(0)
P(2016) = 1500*sqrt(6) + P(0)
