raise both sides to the fourth power
minus 1 on both sides
divide both sides by 2

(2t+1)^1/4 -1=2 ?
(2t+1)^1/4 = 2 + 1
(2t+1)^1/4 = 3
Raise both sides to the 4th power:
((2t+1)^1/4)^4 = 3^4
(2t+1)^1 = 81
2t+1 = 81
2t = 80
t = 40

(2t+1)^1/4 =2 +1
Take the 4th power on both sides of the equation
(2t+1)= 3^4
2t+ 3^4-1
2t=81-1
