Question 262419: sqroot(3-x) + 28 = x + 25
x=?
Answer by drk(1908) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
we start with
subtract 28 to get
square both sides to get
set = 0 to get
factor to get
so,
x = 2
x = 3
however if x = 2, then we get 1 = -1 which is not possible, so the only answer is x = 3.
