Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Simplify: a^1/2 . a^2/3 .a^-1/4
------------
Rule: If the bases are the same, add the exponents.
------------
(1/2 + 2/3 - 1/4)
lcd = 12
= (6 + 8 - 3)/12
= l1/12
-------------
Answer for your problem:
a^(11/12)
