To remove the parentheses, Multiply the 
inner exponent  by the outer exponent 
and get the exponent , so you have:



Now use the rule for making negative exponents positive,
by moving them from numerator to denominator like this,
leaving a  in the numerator when necessary to
hold the numerator, as in this case:
