the largest that will factor into 32 is 16

sqrt ( 16*2)

but this also equals,,,,sqrt 16*sqrt2,,,or 4*sqrt2,,which is our answer,,,as 2 cannot be factored by a perfect square.

to check,,,use a calculator, sqrt 32=5.657,,,4sqrt2=4*1.414= 5.657,,,,,ok
