Question 191555: simplify each radical expression: sqrt = square root
sqrt(75a)/ sqrt(49)

Answer by RAY100(1637)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sqrt (75a) / sqrt (49)
sqrt ( 3 *25 *a) / 7
since sqrt 25 = 5,
5* sqrt (3*a) /7
or (5 / 7 ) sqrt (3 *a)

note it is often teachers preference that sqrt = ( + or - ) the number
