Question 177069: 3/[SQRT(5) - 2]
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3/[SQRT(5) - 2]
---------------------
To rationalize the denominator multiply numerator and denominator
by the conjugate of sqrt(5)-2 which is sqrt(5)+2
=====================================================
= [3(sqrt(5)+2]/[5-4]
= 3sqrt(5) + 6
