Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3 sqrt w+1 = 6
Is it sqrt(w) + 1, or sqrt(w+1)?
I'll assume the latter and work it.

Square all of it
(w+1) = 4
w = 3
