Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = sqrt (3y + 10)
Y^2=3Y+10
Y^2-3Y-10=0
(Y-5)(Y+2)=0
Y-5=0
Y=5 ANS.
Y+2=0
Y=-2 ANS.
PROOFS:
5=SQRT(3*5+10)
5=SQRT(15+10)
5=SQRT25
5=5
-2=SQRT(3*-2+10)
-2=SQRT(-6+10)
-2=SQRT4
-2=-2
