The cube root is the same as "to the power of 1/3"
Square root is to the power of 1/2, etc., it's the inverse of the exponent.

(16x^6)^(1/3)
= (8x^6)^(1/3) * (2)^(1/3)
= 2x^3 * 2^(1/3)
