Answer by oscargut(2103) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
12/sqrt(5x+6) = sqrt(2x+5)
then
12=sqrt(5x+6)sqrt(2x+5)
then
12^2=(sqrt(5x+6)sqrt(2x+5))^2
then
144=(5x+6)(2x+5)
then
10x^2+37x+30=144
then
10x^2+37x-114=0
then
then
then
then x=-5.5 or x=2
but in the original equation x=-5.5 produces a sqrt of a negative number
so the only solution is
x=2
